Faye is a documentary filmmaker based in Los Angeles. Her directing work has been featured by Maryland Film Festival, Nowness, New Filmmakers NY, Vimeo Staff Picks, Paper Magazine, Boooooom.tv, The Film Shortage, and Maff.tv.
Faye is currently pursuing an MFA in Documentary Film & Video at Stanford University and is a Features Programmer at Big Sky Documentary Film Festival.
She previously served as VP, Development & Production for Passage Pictures in which she ovesraw development and production alongside CEO Uri Singer. In this role, she set up Noah Baumbach’s White Noise with A24 and Netlix. She was Director of Acquisitions & Production for independent film & television distribution company FilmRise, in which she championed the release of award winning documentary and narrative films including The Miseducation of Cameron Post, The Departure, Motherland, Dayveon, and Marjorie Prime. She produced Collegetown (2015), a narrative-doc hybrid feature film.
Faye served on the jury of the Bushwick Film Festival in 2019 and has participated in the IFP Project Forum, the Hot Docs Project Forum, and the Sheffield Doc Fest project MeetMarket for several consequetive years.
